| Expressionist You don't need any special hardware to upgrade the firmware because it's in Flash ROM! All you need to do is download this file, and "play" it into the Expressionist with a MIDI sequencer or utility such as MIDIOX. Remember to enable SYSEX on the Expressionist, or nothing will happen.

MIDI Retrofits If you have access to an EPROM programmer, you may update a MIDI kit with the code on this page. These files are in ZIP format. After you download a file, unzip it and you will have an Intel hex file, suitable for programming a new ROM. If you do not have this capability, you may send a check for $30 US, and we will mail you a preprogramed ROM. Click on "What's new" to find out the changes from previous versions.
